Center for Innovative Science & Engineering Education (CISEE)
funded by
GOVERNMENT OF KARNATAKA
VISION GROUP ON SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, BIOTECHNOLOGY & SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
  • The Centre has been established with a mission of exploring scientific research in the field of upcoming Nano Science and Technology. At present the center is developing semiconductor nano-materials for application in environmental cleaning. Nano oxides, silicates, aluminates, ferrites etc for optoelectronic, phosphors and display applications.
  • The Centre has facilities to synthesize pure and doped nano-materials by chemical co-precipitation, sol-gel, hydrothermal and combustion (LCS) techniques. The centre is equipped with material characterization facilities such as FTIR spectrometer and UV-visible spectrophotometer. The characterized nano-materials are used for their photocatalytic, luminescence and antimicrobial activities.
